ROMS Inmate Booking

Capture color photos and enter all inmate biographical information on a Desktop computer. Access inmate information and color photo from any workstation on the network.   Capture or review medical assessments, charges, etc.  Capture inmate fingerprint via single-print scanner (optional).

The ROMS Booking Module captures the basic information required to track inmates throughout their incarceration.  The Booking Module is connected to several other modules via the ROMS central database.  These include Inmate Classification and inmate Housing. 

Digital photo capture is supported via an inexpensive web cam or digitial camcorder.  The photos may be used on Inmate ID Cards and/or Inmate wristbands.

Facial Recognition is an option within the ROMS Booking Module.  The Inmate photo is used to generate a recognition record that is stored in the ROMS central database.  The ROMS Inmate Tracking module can then utilitize this biometric cross-check to ensure that an Inmate has not switched identity with another Inmate.  The ROMS Access Control module can also use an Inmate Facial Recognition record to eliminate the possibility of an Inmate impersonating a facility employee or visitor.
