ROMS Visitor Tracking

Enter visitor information to create an audit trail of visits. Display information on who is currently in the visiting facility.  Use a drivers license swipe and bar coded Visitor badges to speed up the process.

The Visitor Tracking Program is Windows based and uses standard Windows procedures.  It has been designed to provide the user a tool to electronically document and track all inmate visits, their visitors and the visiting history of visitors with multiple inmates.

After implementing the program and entering current inmate visit data about visits conducted during the calendar week, a user can access that data to see if an inmate is entitled to receive a visit or additional visits within a given time period.  The program has been designed to display the number of visits an inmate has had within the current seven day period.  Once it has been determined the inmate may receive a visit, the user is required to record identifiable information about the visit and the visitor.  This information is later used to search for the visit history of the visitor.

In addition to recording the visitor identification, the user will enter the location the visit will be conducted and the relationship the visitor has to the inmate.  The program will “time stamp” the start of the visit.  When the visit is terminated the user “checks the visitor out”, thereby maintaining a log of who is currently in visiting areas.

Should a user need to research who has visited one or more inmates, a search of the visiting history can be performed by simply entering the name or ID number of the inmate or the visitor then initiating the query process.  All query results can be printed from the program.
